Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 12 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
4 pork chops (bone in or out) your choice
Salt & Pepper, to season
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup water (or chicken broth)
2 tbsp white wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar, or any other white vinegar)
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan or skillet over medium heat until hot. Sear chops on both sides, until golden brown and cooked through (about 5 minutes each side).
Transfer chops to plate and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter in the same pan. Sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add honey, water (or broth), and vinegar. Increase heat to medium-high and continue to cook until the sauce reduces down and thickens slightly (about 3-4 minutes) stirring occasionally.
Add pork chops back into pan, baste generously with the sauce and continue cooking for 2 minutes.
Garnish with parsley (optional) and serve over vegetables, rice, pasta or with salad.
